Reuse

Checked 21 October 2026

ADOX says ADOX XT-3 may be used for more than one film. It can also be replenished.

Longer time for reuse: After the 5th film, +1 minute for each following film; up to 10 films per litre of stock.

Capacity, as the maker states it: 1 litre of working solution: 10 films when the stock solution is reused; the 5 litre pack: 50 films.

In the case of re-using the stock solution you can process up to 10 rolls per liter. ... After the 5th film the developing time has to be increased by 1 minute for each following film in order to make up for the developers exhaustion. ... XT-3 as well as XTOL can be self replenished.

Help keep it right

Suggest a time or report a mistake.

Know a time for XT-3 that is missing here, or spotted one that is wrong? Tell us, with the source, and a curator will check it.

  • Sources only. We publish a time only when it has been read off a primary source: the maker’s datasheet or chart. A link to it is what lets us check yours.
  • Nothing goes up by itself. Every report is read by a person before anything on the page changes.
  • No account needed. Your name and email are optional, and only to reply to you.
What would you like to send?

A datasheet, the maker’s chart or technical publication. Forums and blogs can’t be checked the same way.
